It’s The Border Stupid…

In an “oh my golly moment” a recent article in the Washington Post highlights the fact that even though prescription opiate prescribing has declined by 45% between the years 2011 and 2019, opioid deaths continue to skyrocket due to the availability of synthetic fentanyl.   And, of course, the focus of the article is on Big Pharma and doctors…who have been prescribing less and less for 12 years now.

No mention of the 900 lb gorilla that lurks at our southern border. Whatsoever.

The problem is resolvable. It’s the border stupid.
