Mike Benz is one of my favorite follows on X as it relates to our administrative state and the persistent government. A former state department official under Trump’s first term, he has an exhaustive knowledge of statecraft and “The Blob” – the coordinated movements of the State Department, the Defense Department, and the CIA.
However over the past 9-12 months he has spoken extensively about USAID – US Agency for International Development – and it’s many NGO’s (non-governmental organizations) as a means of statecraft to achieve maximum deniability.
But as we’ve come to find out USAID has lived up to it’s reputation as “the department of dirty tricks” – funneling money to spark color revolutions, rebel groups, gun-running, etc. So I found it a bit ironic to consider that one branch of government might just be running opiates to fund it’s black ops, while another is left to pick up the pieces.
Surely there is more involved than just USAID in our current state of affairs with the opiate crisis, but the comment is accurate and valid. Just so you know why you as a licensed practitioner are chasing your tail.
