We continue to monitor the progress of SB599. While it’s sponsors tout the objective of making the NC Dental Board less partisan by placing it’s appointments in the hands of others, the process of nominating candidates will make it 100% partisan. SB599 is definitely an attempt to commandeer the NCBDE but to whose benefit? By virtue of it’s lobby, the NCDS would effectively become the Board’s new steering committee.

So…who’s commandeering the NCBDE?
